Cross training and delegating enhance productivity, efficiency

Cross training your employees is good for you and for them

There are several reasons for implementing an employee training program for your tasks:

– You can’t do it all (nor should you).

– Your organization needs coverage in case you are gone.

– Others need the training. It’s the best way to learn.

Have faith in them. Give them the freedom to try and, possibly, make mistakes. That’s all a part of employee development.

For some additional valuable information, see “Develop unconventional leadership skills for better results” and “Build your business through chamber of commerce.”

Does your firm offer a training and development program that encourages employees to assist in other areas? Feel free to comment below.
